Kelvin Koh, founder, Lightedpixels Photography, who is also a Sony Alpha photographer, gave a talk on his 20-year experience in wedding and family photography at a recent Sony Alpha Sessions event.

Many photography talks can lean towards some form of gear/equipment or technical presentation but Kelvin decided to take a more business approach — the main idea being the ‘ABCs’ of a long career in photography:

(A)daptation
Continuous process to adapt and stay relevant
Styles and trends
Technology

(B)randing
How to stand out in the industry
Building your business and increasing your reach

(C)ustomer Experience
Always giving more value than what they paid for
Building and nurturing client relationships
